Everyone thinks of royalty when they think of a tiara and that is just how you should feel on your wedding day. There are many popular bridal tiara styles to choose from. Try a few on to make sure it is the right fit.
Pick one that fits the shape of your face, If you have a round face you may want to choose one that has some height and make your face look thinner, If you have a long face then you may want one with no height and it you have an oval face then one that does not peak at the top would look best.
There are different types of tiaras, the V-band is great for the woman with a long face. Back piece works great for using around a bun in the back of your hair and the bun ring works well with the on the top bun.
You can also wear a tiara and a veil at the same time, there are a lot of tiaras that have hooks on the end of them making it easy to attach to fabric. After you have both pieces just sew a few stitches connecting the veil and the tiara or hold the comb upside down with the teeth of the comb angles toward the front of your head. Push the comb into the hair and rotate it backwards so the face of the comb is now facing downward. Slide the comb until it feels secure then insert the tiara in front of the veil at a 45 degree angle,adjust the tiara backwards toward the veil making sure there is no gap. Secure the ends of the tiara with bobby pins and cover the plain metal band with your hair.
With all the bridal tiaras to choose from you may have a little trouble picking one out, take a friend with you and try on several, make sure it is comfortable because you will be wearing it all evening. Ask your friend which one looks best, maybe take pictures so you can see how each one looks. Shop around for the best price, you can buy them online but I would suggest not doing that because you may not like how it fits once you receive it. You may want to consider buying a similar type of tiara but less dazzling for your flower girl, this adds a nice touch to your wedding.
